I have been a lover of art
in all its forms since I was a wee girl, but it wasn't
until eight years ago that I made it my life.
In my previous position at
a Sacramento design studio, I led the design team as head
website designer. I also managed scheduling, editing,
design and writing for several monthly publications. I
designed award-winning logos, business systems, brochures,
packaging, and posters.
In late 2002 I founded this design
studio. I wanted to share what I know, grow a business,
and continue to learn. Most of all, I wanted to do what
I loved on my own terms.
August of 2005 brought my most
beautiful creation yet: my daughter Alida
who inspires me every day. What remains of my spare time
is devoted to Rhodesian
Ridgeback Rescue, a non-profit organization whose focus
is to rescue, rehouse, and rehabilitate Rhodesian Ridgeback
purebred and mixed-breed dogs in need. My husband and I
dote on our own middle-aged rescues, Jake
and Nala.
